Privacy Policy
Okito is built to keep your journal private. Your entries are read and reflected on entirely on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device intelligence. We never see them, never store them on a server, and never use them to train anything.
What stays on your device
Your journal entries, mood and theme tags, reflection history, and streak all live locally on your iPhone. If you have iCloud enabled, this data syncs through your own iCloud account, the same way Apple Notes does. gulden studio has no access to it at any point.
What we collect
We collect anonymous crash reports and basic product analytics, such as which screens are opened, app version, and device type. These never include the content of your entries, your reflections, or your tags.
If you subscribe to Pro, purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active. We never receive your payment details.
Third parties
- Apple: App Store purchases, on-device intelligence, and optional iCloud sync.
- Firebase (Google): anonymous crash reports and analytics only, never entry content.
Your choices
You can turn off analytics from Settings inside the app. Deleting the app removes everything stored locally, and anything synced to iCloud is removed from your iCloud account too.
Children
Okito is not directed at children under 13.
